Authorities identified 25-year-old Carlos Alfredo Alvarez-Cabrera and 20-year-old Freddy Pineda, both of Houston, as the two men who were killed after a truck hit them while they were outside of their vehicle.
Carlos Alfredo Alvarez-Cabrera, 25, and Freddy Pineda, 20, were declared deceased at the scene by Childress County Justice of the Peace Randy Rister. As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 28, on U.S. 287, approximately six miles east of Childress.
