Florida authorities have charged a 69-year-old man with killing a 47-year-old woman and dismembering her. A chance meeting in a McDonald's parking lot led to the suspect inviting the victim to move in with him.
The mother of three, Stephanie Crone-Overholts, came from out of state and had nowhere to stay. So, she moved in with him at his Florida home. Her stay at his house lasted a few days.
Robert Kessler, 69, has been charged with murder.
The victim's dismembered remains were found by a fisherman, investigators said.
While he was being investigated for her murder, Kessler was arrested for drug charges earlier this week. The charges against him, now, include second-degree murder and abuse of a dead body.
