Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes recently revealed that she would be open to returning to the show.
"Yeah, sure. I'll return to the show," NeNe told "The Real" cohosts Loni Love and Garcelle Beauvais. "I'm okay with returning to the show as long as we can work through a few things. I'd be happy to return to the show."
She continued: "I think Andy and I were really close for a really, really long time and I love Benny Boo [Benjamin] and I helped pay for his baby shower and all those things," she said. "I think that Andy and I need to have a sit-down and talk and we're off to the races!"
After NeNe exited the show, she called on her fans to boycott Bravo. She accused the network of racial discrimination and blasted the network on social media after Cohen discussed her exit with Wendy Williams on air. She told them both to stop using her for clickbait. NeNe also asserted that she made Cohen.
Cohen said that he has spoken to NeNe since her husband Gregg Leakes passed away from cancer. He would not weigh in on whether they had spoken about a possible return but took a light jab.
"What I don't want to do is get into a public thing with her. I think she would probably prefer that I keep her name out of my mouth and that is what I'm going to honor," he said.
Last month, a source told HollywoodLife that the chances of NeNe returning are slim. The insider said that there is "no way that NeNe will ever be back on that show after the way things were left between the network and her." The source continued, "Those rumors are completely false. There have not been any conversations for her to appear."
