The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Temple Hills. The victim is 25-year-old Romeo Franklin of District Heights.
On October 30, 2021, at approximately 4:30 am, officers responded to the 3800 block of 28th Avenue for a reported shooting. Once on scene, officers located Franklin on a sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.
