This is accomplished by snowshoeing or cross country skiing in, or by using Snow Cats, side by side ATVs with tracks, and snowmobiles. The community has private easement that takes you through the Last Dollar Ranch, and this really increases the availability for access. There's a type of 'parking lot' on the Last Dollar Road where folks park their standard vehicles and hop on their San Juan Vista vehicle to head up to their Colorado Escape.
