House Capital Investment chair hopes for ‘robust’ 2022 bonding bill
MARSHALL — Minnesota lawmakers were on the road in southwest Minnesota this week listening to pitches for some of the public projects seeking state bonding dollars in 2022. At a stop in Marshall on Tuesday, the projects included upgrades to a railroad line in Redwood and Renville counties, a runway and lighting replacement at the Redwood Falls municipal airport, and some much-needed expansions to the city of Tyler’s sanitary sewer. Two Redwood Falls residents sentenced for receiving stolen goods
Two Redwood Falls residents were sentenced in Redwood County Court last week for separate incidents of receiving stolen goods. The first involves a case that occurred on May 21, 2020. A Lower Sioux Tribal Police Department officer was patrolling near Reservation Highway 101 shortly after midnight, and observed a westbound vehicle bearing a Colorado license plate. Read more
