Candace Owens refuses to show any compassion for Hollywood actor Alex Baldwin after he fatally shot and badly injured two crew members after firing a prop firearm on the set of the movie "Rust" in New Mexico.
"Alec Baldwin spent 4 years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers," Owens tweeted, referring to Baldwin's popular "Saturday Night Live" skits as former President Donald Trump.
"What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic Justice if it weren't for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So sad," before later adding, "Will correct that last tweet to say Alec Baldwin *killed* someone— not murdered someone, as murder carries a different legal definition."
"Literally not one single thing that Alec Baldwin has said about Donald Trump and his supporters is going to age well," she said in a separate tweet.
Halyna Hutchins, 42, director of photography, was rushed to hospital via helicopter to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Joel Souza, 48, the director of the movie, was rushed to Christus St. Vincent's Regional Medical Center by ambulance for care for medical treatment.
"According to investigators it appears that the scene being filmed involved the use of a prop firearm when it was discharged," the statement from the Santa Fe County sheriff's offices read. "Detectives are investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged."
Baldwin took to Twitter to issue a brief statement about the shootings.
"There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours," he wrote. "I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna."
