The survey looked at prices across the greater Fairfield area, and found that the cheapest gallon of diesel as of Tuesday was $3.41, at Irving at 155 Pung Hill Rd. By comparison, the most expensive was $3.59, listed at Shell at 500 Kennedy Memorial Dr.
