‘Trump Lost’ Sign Going Up In Detroit – Billboard Funded By Republicans
You cannot blame Democrats for this sign, it was funded by a republican group. A billboard that simpy reads 'Trump Lost' is going up in Detroit. The billboard will be located on soutbound I-75 and 6 Mile Road. Michigan is not the only state that will be displaying this message, the same billboard is going up in Georgia, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Arizona, as well as New York City’s Times Square. City receives $30 million Federal grant for upgrading Corktown community
The City of Detroit has been awarded a $30 million Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant for the Greater Corktown neighborhood. Their community-driven plan will ensure that as Detroit’s oldest established neighborhood experiences unprecedented growth, it remains one that is vibrant, diverse, and provides opportunity for all residents. With the award of the Choice Neighborhoods grant, the City of Detroit and its partners will replace the distressed 87-unit HUD-assisted Clement Kern Gardens Apartments with over 800 units of mixed-income housing. They will also enhance public spaces, integrate green infrastructure, and create a Community Empowerment Center. These physical investments will be paired with tailored health, employment, and education supports for the families living at Clement Kern Gardens Apartments. Read more
