41 Year-old Man Arrested and Charged with 1st Degree Attempted Murder: Baltimore Police

On August 22, 2021, at approximately 2:31 a.m., Southeast District officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Bond Street to investigate a reported shooting. The victim, a 23 year-old woman sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds to her lower extremities.

Southeast District Shooting detectives investigated the shooting, identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.

On September 6, 2021, 41 year-old Tony Evans Jr. was served with an arrest warrant charging him with Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

At the time the arrest warrant was served, Tony Evans Jr. was already in custody at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility for a different crime.

On August 28, 2021, Tony Evans Jr. was arrested and charged with the theft of a vehicle. At the time of his arrest he was armed with a handgun.
