Alcohol might have been a factor in an apparent high-speed crash that claimed the life of a 31-year-old man in Pomona on early Sunday morning.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place at around 12:45 a.m. along the westbound 10 Freeway, just east of Towne Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that a 31-year-old man was driving a 2007 Lexus IS 350 on the No. 1 lane of the westbound 10 Freeway at speeds of over 90 miles per hour when he took an “unsafe turning movement” to the right which caused the driver to lose control of his car.
