The survey looked at prices across the greater San Mateo area, and found that the cheapest gallon of diesel as of Tuesday was $4.19, at A&A Gas at 1100 Broadway. By comparison, the most expensive was $4.69, listed at Chevron at 300 E Hillsdale Blvd.
Region-wide, the average price of diesel was $4.46, according to the survey, which was conducted by internet gas price app GasBuddy.
