Newport Beach, California is one of the most expensive locations in the United States to own real estate — and it's understandable why this beachside community draws the one percent. The stunning harbor views, the year-round sunshine and a neighborhood that provides top-tier restaurants and stores bring in the elite crowd that wants it all in the neighborhood. But there's one thing about Newport Beach that people tend to forget — it also lures reality television stars.

Any fan of Bravo TV is familiar with the lush landscape, whether they watch The Real Housewives of Orange County or more sedate fare like HGTV's Flip or Flop. Newport Beach might not be screaming their reality show connections from the rooftops, but many TV personalities have settled there — and found gorgeous properties to call home. Take a look at some of the familiar faces, who are enjoying the stunning Orange County location, and drawing more attention to the beautiful beaches there.

The Shark Tank star and his former Dancing with the Stars pro wife bid adieu to Los Angeles in 2020 when they listed their Hidden Hills home and decided to call Orange County home full-time. They purchased their Newport Beach waterfront home in 2018 for $7.95 million in the Balboa Peninsula Point area, per The Los Angeles Times. The 3,550-square-foot, contemporary property boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms with retractable glass walls on the lower level to enjoy that marina view — and the best part is the family can park their boat right in front of their house. That's SoCal living at its finest.

Tarek El Moussa & Heather Rae Young

This engaged couple has ties to HGTV and Netflix real estate shows with Tarek El Moussa helming Flip or Flop, with his ex-wife Christina Haack, and Heather Rae Young is part of the ensemble cast for Selling Sunset. The couple bought a home together in the fall of 2020, only to deal with flooding setbacks along the way — but their dream home is almost completed. The two-story home with a rooftop deck to take in the gorgeous ocean views was getting a backyard makeover, too. They were planning on renovating a fire pit area, adding a Jacuzzi and making sure the master bedroom suite had access to the outdoor space.

Dr. Terry & Heather Dubrow

This particular property got a lot of airtime on The Real Housewives of Orange County as the couple was building their dream home (Husband Terry is also on E!'s Botched). The house costs $21 million, per ET, and boasts 22,000 square feet with 14 bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Heather often gives home tours on her YouTube channel — and we have to say, the $1 million, state-of-the-art home theatre is a highlight of the estate. There's also a fully furnished basement with a home gym, arcade-inspired game room and a stocked snack bar. Don't miss the Dubrows' personal tour through one of the most expensive properties in the Newport Beach area.
