A brave South Carolina girl managed to fight off a sex attack in the bathroom of a restaurant.
South Carolina police have arrested an employee of a restaurant for allegedly following the 11-year-old girl into the restaurant's bathroom and touching her sexually.
Manuel Cuim faces charges of criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping in the first degree.
Police say it happened at El Poblano Restaurant in Richland County. According to Richland County deputies, Manuel CUim followed the 11-year-old into the restroom and inappropriately touched her.
The girl had fought back against him and called out to her parents, who immediately entered the bathroom.
Cuim was seen following the girl into the female bathroom on video surveillance footage which was reviewed by deputies from the sheriff's department. Deputies arrested him on the spot at the restaurant.
