Following the discovery of the body of a missing Arkansas woman in Oklahoma, three men are in custody.
Tara Strozier, 40, was reported missing after being unreachable for weeks. An automobile believed to be hers was found on a private drive in the town of Cameron, Oklahoma.
Several miles from Cameron, Strozier's body was found weighed down and discarded in a pond near Rock Island. Prior to her death, she was tortured.
After receiving a tip that Strozier was in Cameron, police approached the LeFlore County Sheriff's Office for assistance, and the sheriff's office responded by calling state investigators.
The three individuals charged in relation to the murder are Alex Nathaniel Davis, 30, Austin Johnson, 23, and Kaelin Hutchinson, 24. First-degree murder charges have been filed against Davis and Johnson. The kidnapping charges against Davis remain unanswered, while the obstruction charges against Hutchinson are still pending.
According to the agency, Davis admitted she was killed, and Johnson was on the scene at the time.
