On Saturday morning, a two-vehicle crash killed 1 person on 5 Freeway and 17th Street.
California Highway Patrol stated that the fatal crash took place on southbound 5 Freeway at 17th Street. Initial investigation of the crash revealed that a Honda Pilot and possibly a Mitsubishi were involved in the accident.
On arrival, the authorities pronounced 1 person deceased at the scene and one person was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center by the medics in unknown condition. All freeway lanes reopened for traffic after the scene was cleared. The identities of victims remain undisclosed at this time. The officials have not released any further details of the crash.
