On Sunday morning, a fatality was reported following a hit-and-run accident near King Road and Story Road.
As per the initial information, the San Jose Department officers arrived at the scene at 12:20 a.m. The fatal incident took place near King Road and Story Road. On arrival, authorities found out that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian and fled the scene. It is unclear if the pedestrian was using a designated crosswalk or not at the time of the crash.
As a result of the accident, the traffic in the area has been affected as the authorities continue to investigate. The identity of the deceased will be revealed after notifying the next of kin. No other details are available.
