On Saturday morning, a 25-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Kirker Pass Road near Clearbrook Drive.
According to the initial information, the fatal pedestrian crash took place on Kirker Pass Road near Clearbrook and Myrtle drives at about 5:00 a.m. Preliminary reports showed that a southbound vehicle fatally struck a man who was walking in the street.
On arrival, the victim, a 25-year-old man, was declared deceased at the scene by the first responders. The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigating team. The incident led to the closure of the Kirker Pass Road for around three hours. The authorities will reveal the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
