A Florida mom was recently shot in her car while her children were inside.
911 callers reported someone had been shot near the 100 block of 60th Street South in St. Petersburg, Florida. Joana Peca, 27, was found with an apparent gunshot wound inside a car by responding officers.
The two young children of Peca were also inside the vehicle, and though they were unharmed physically, they were extremely scared.
At this point in time, Florida investigators have chosen not to reveal specific details about the slaying, such as how many times Peca was shot or whether the shooting was targeted or a random act.
At this time, no one has been arrested for the incident. In an effort to gather information about what happened, the police are seeking the public's assistance in the investigation.
