A Maryland woman confessed to killing a 92-year-old artist. She initially met her gracious host through the Catholic Worker Movement.
Julie Burch, 29, called 911 to confess to murdering Nancy Ann Frankel, 92.
Their families had a longstanding connection, and the artist and suspect lived together in Kensington. It was through the Catholic Worker Movement that the families first met, according to Frankel's son-in-law Bill Streit.
Additionally, Bill said Burch only moved into Frankel's home a few months prior to the murder.
The cause of Frankel's death and a motive have not yet been identified by authorities, but charges indicate that she was strangled to death.
Frankel was a well-known sculptor whose work had been frequently exhibited throughout her extensive career.
