(CLEVELAND) A U.S. Marshals task force arrested three men in Cleveland throughout the day Thursday on various violent charges.

According to Cleveland.com, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force first arrested Anthony Billups on Thursday morning for raping a 12-year-old child. The Marshals said that they found Billups, 43, living at an apartment on the 7800 block of Woodland Avenue in Cleveland's Kinsman neighborhood.

3News reports that Billups had inappropriate relations with the child, but did not have information on when the crime took place.

The Marshals did, however, say the second man, 25-year-old Charles Trammell, was wanted for a Nov. 17, 2020 incident in which he shot and killed an 18-year-old. Per Cleveland.com, police believe that Trammell shot Cleveland resident Zay'Veontae Sherman Jones in the city's Glenville neighborhood, near the intersection of East 102nd Street and Hampden Avenue.

The task force arrested Trammell on Thursday afternoon more than 20 miles from Glenville, in a residence on the 4600 block of Walford Road in Warrensville Heights, and charged him with homicide.

The group's third arrest of the day came in the form of Avant Williams, 20, who is wanted for felonious assault after officers said he fired three bullets at a man near the 10100 block of Dunlap Avenue, close to Cleveland's Mt. Pleasant neighborhood on July 19.

Officers pulled Williams out of a car and cuffed him in the parking lot of the Shell gas station at 26051 Euclid Ave. in Euclid before seizing two firearms from the parked vehicle.

According to the task force's website, the Cleveland division includes the following law enforcement agencies as full-time participants:
