On Wednesday, an ambulance actively responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 111 involving a big rig.
The incident took place just after 8 a.m., east of Keystone Road. According to the preliminary investigation, the rig jack-knifed and flipped over following the crash. A small vehicle was also involved in the accident.
The small vehicle’s driver did not seem to be moving and that is when an ambulance was requested. The driver of the big rig remained unharmed as a result of the wreck. As per the reports, the semi spilled some diesel fuel on the road. No other details are immediately available.
The wreck remains under active review.
