(DETROIT) If the Detroit Pistons keep the No. 1 pick in Thursday's 2021 NBA Draft, they will select Cade Cunnigham with the pick, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pistons are still listening to trade offers for the No. 1 pick, but if a deal isn't made before this evening's draft Cunningham will be heading to Detroit.

On Wednesday, the team flew to New York City to meet with Cunningham, and came to a determination that he was the right choice for their draft selection.

Cunningham has been the consensus favorite to be the first pick in the draft, and averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists a game last season at Oklahoma State.
