(LINCOLN, Neb.) A former Lincoln Journal Star sports reporter and writer for Huskers.com was arrested on Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting a child from 2017 to 2018, KETV Omaha reported.
According to court documents filed in Nemaha County, 49-year-old Brian Rosenthal is accused of sexually assaulting a child between the ages of 12 to 16.
Rosenthal wrote for the Lincoln Journal Star from 2001 to 2016 before joining the Nebraska Athletic Department as a writer and creative content specialist for Huskers.com.
He is due in due in court in August where he will face four charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
