NYPD seeking assailant who stabbed 3 men near Bronx park

(THE BRONX, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department launched an investigation Wednesday after three men were stabbed near a Bronx park, according to News 12.

Officials said all three incidents took place shortly before midnight in the Fordham section of the borough. Police have not identified any clear suspects as of Thursday.

The victims were all men ranging from ages 24, 26 and 38 years old. One man was stabbed in the stomach, one on the side of his chest and the other in his left arm. All victims received medical treatment, police said. There are no updates on their current condition at this time.

Authorities said two of the men hopped in a livery cab to get themselves to St. Barnabas Hospital for medical attention. Emergency medical services transported the third victim to the same hospital.

The NYPD closed off the entrance to Aqueduct Park after the incident.

Their search for the assailant remains active.
