Ohio Attorney General’s Agents Raid Home of Small Town Councilman, Youth Pastor, and Teacher

Ohio State Agents raided the home of a Chillicothe teacher, youth pastor, and city council member on Wednesday morning.

It happened at 71 Limestone Blvd., when agents from the Ohio Attorney General’s office descended on the home of Greg Phillips. Phillips, 47, is a school teacher at Chillicothe City Schools. He also represents the city’s first ward as a republican city council member and is a local youth pastor at a church in Kingston.

According to a spokesman for the state’s attorney general, agents with the AG’s “Special Victim’s Unit” raided the home early Wednesday morning.

“The law enforcement activity this morning was BCI’s Special Victims Unit executing a search warrant,” Spokesman Steve Irwin said. Irwin added that the SVU division focuses mostly on sex crimes"
