(DETROIT) After a 20-year-old woman walked into a Detroit police precinct Wednesday morning after being abducted, her abductor is still on the run, WXYZ Detroit reports.

According to police, the victim, Emoni Smith, was abducted by the suspect, 21-year-old Marcus Montgomery, after he pulled up to a car that Smith was sitting in and forced her to get into his vehicle.

After a female witness to the abduction tried to follow Mongomery's vehicle, he reportedly fired a gun into her vehicle, shooting her, and fled the scene.

The injured witness was taken to the hospital.

Montgomery is allegedly driving an older model silver Ford Escape with two other unknown people, a man and a woman.

Anyone who has seen Marcus Montgomery or knows of his whereabouts is urged to call Detroit Police.
