(TUCSON, Ariz.) One person died and another was seriously injured after an airplane crash near Ryan Airfield Runway in Tucson early Tuesday, azfamily reported.
Officials said the crash happened around 7:15 a.m. when the Long-EZ airplane went down.
Tucson Airport said the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating and the crash won't affect any operations at Tucson International Airport.
Ryan Airfield is on State Route 86 just southwest of Tucson.
Information on the identity of the two people involved in the crash wasn't immediately available.
