On Sunday evening, a multi-vehicle accident claimed of 45-year-old Cory Buckley, a resident of Marietta, on South Cobb Drive, Cobb Police confirmed.
Cory Buckley, 45, was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta following the crash in heavy rain just before 6:20 p.m. but was later declared deceased, Cobb Police Officer Shenise Barner stated.
Barner mentioned that the wreck between Barclay Circle and Lake Circle, just south of Kennesaw State University’s Marietta campus, took place when Buckley lost control of the red 1997 Ford Ranger he was driving as he headed east on South Cobb Drive in the rain.
