On Saturday night, a car crashed into a grocery store in downtown Oakland.
According to the reports, the incident took place at Howden Market in Oakland, on the corner of Webster Street and 17th Street. Employees of the store informed the officers that no one was inside the building at the time of the collision. It is unknown at this time if the driver of the car suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Officials have not provided any additional information regarding the crash at this time.
The authorities will continue to investigate the cause that led to the single-vehicle collision.
