A mother working for a Nevada social service agency is accused of intentionally drowning her son and daughter before attempting suicide.
Police responded to a call at the Henderson home and found Christopher, 4, and Gihanna, 1, dead. After she drove to a hospital in Arizona, Jovan Trevino confessed to killing her children, according to several reports.
Trevino had been granted a protection order against Chris Fox, the father of the children.
Trevino works as a family services assistant for the Nevada Department of Family Services. Trevino has been held without bail.
To obtain full custody of their children, Trevino accused Fox of domestic violence. Fox admitted that he violated an order of protection as well.
In order to raise funeral expenses for his children, Fox created a GoFundMe campaign.
A total of $17,000 has been raised through the campaign so far.
