(MESA, Ariz.) Two people were detained Wednesday after police said they shot at officers during a pursuit in Mesa, ABC 15 reported.
The Mesa Police Department said officers were looking for a stolen vehicle suspect on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the suspect jumped into the passenger seat of another vehicle. Officers tried to pull over the vehicle but the driver refused to stop near Sossaman and Baseline roads.
During the chase, police said officers believe shots were fired at them.
Both the driver of the vehicle and the stolen vehicle suspect left the vehicle in a neighborhood. Both men were eventually detained.
No arrests were reported and the incident is under investigation.
