(TEMPE, Ariz.) The Tempe Police Department is investigating a crash on Tuesday that resulted in a man pinned between two vehicles, FOX 10 reported.
Authorities said the crash happened near McClintock Drive and Warner Road when a gold sedan pulled out of a drive-thru, accelerated and crashed into a nearby parked car.
The driver of the parked car, who had just gotten out of the vehicle, ended up pinned between his car and a pickup truck.
Police said the man who was pinned and the passenger in his car were taken to the hospital. Information on the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
Investigators did not disclose what led to the car accelerating or if any arrests were made in connection with the crash.
