4 men injured in Queens shooting, police in search of masked gunmen

(QUEENS, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department launched a search to find suspects who exited a car and opened fire at a group of people, injuring several, in Queens on Monday, according to ABC 7 NY.

The incident took place near 145th Drive at around 7 p.m., police said.

Officials said three suspects sporting masks exited a white sedan and shot at a group of four men standing at an intersection.

Following the gunfire, the suspects re-entered their vehicle and drove off from the scene, the NYPD said.

The four men injured at the scene are expected to survive after undergoing non-life-threatening wounds to the body.

The men were transported to Jamaica Hospital and LIJ in Manhasset.

Police are actively investigating the incident.
