(DETROIT) Motor City Brewing Works, Detroit's oldest operating brewery, opened a second location in the city on Monday, CBS Detroit reports.
The new MCBW cut the ribbon at its new location on the Livernois Avenue of Fashion.
The brewery's original location, on Canfield Street in Detroit’s Midtown, was opened by John Linardos in 1994.
In comments made to The Detroit News, Linardos talked about what people can expect at the brewery's new location.
“We’ll just be producing one-off batches, beers-of-the-week kind of thing. And we’ll be inviting homebrewers and guest brewers to play around with some test batches on that system,” Linardos said.
