(SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich.) Last week Friday, TV personality Chris Hansen was arrested after failing to show up to court a day prior in Shiawassee County, the Detroit Free Press reports.
In his court appearance, Hansen, who's known for being a host of the popular "To Catch a Predator" show, was supposed to present video evidence related to an October 2020 sex-trafficking sting operation with local police. In the operation, three suspects were arrested at a hotel in Owosso, Michigan, after allegedly attempting to have sex with minors between the ages of 13 and 15.
Hansen turned himself in to authorities on Friday and was released the same day.
On his Instagram account, Hansen stated that his absence was due to a misunderstanding and the issue has since been resolved.
