On May 11, 2021 at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Braddish Avenue.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they located a 23 year-old male who had been shot in the left leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his injury.
Southwest District shooting detectives assumed control of this investigation and in just over two weeks, identified the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.
On June 8, 2021, 24 year-old Larry Williams of Gwynn Oak, Maryland was arrested in Ann Arundel County during a traffic stop. Williams was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with 1st Degree Attempted Murder.
Larry Williams is being held without bail.
