The Macklind Mile is a popular downhill one-mile run/walk. You can race to compete or move to complete—whatever suits your pace.
The short-mile course is a laid-back track for those who want to hang out in the streets of South City St. Louis. Admission is on a charge, and participants can register at the Macklind Mile website.

3. Landmarks St. Louis Walking Tours
This walking tour will take you to the famous landmarks of St. Louis to see the history, culture, and architectural legacy of the city while exercising on Saturday morning.
The landmarks include the Old Courthouse, Old Cathedral, Gateway Arch, Union Station, and the Central Library.
The regular schedules are on Saturdays at 10 AM from June 19 to October 31. Tours are limited to 10 people and last about two and a half hours, covering about two miles through the landmarks. The tour costs $10 per person and free for children under 12 years old.
