(MARICOPA, Ariz.) One person died and two others were injured in a crash near the Maricopa Casa Grande Highway and Russell Road on Tuesday morning, azfamily reported.
The Maricopa Police Department said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. Police said a white pickup truck crossed the center line in a no-passing zone and hit a car head-on.
The driver of the pickup truck was thrown from the truck and airlifted to the hospital, authorities said. The driver of the other car was taken to a hospital in Chandler by ambulance. A person sitting in the front passenger seat of the car died at the scene.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
