(AUSTIN, Texas) Authorities announced Tuesday they are dropping charges against a 17-year-old involved in a mass shooting on Sixth Street that killed one and left 15 injured, according to KVUE.

As of June 15, the Austin Police Department arrested two juveniles for the shootings.

Austin Police Department interim chief Joseph Chacon said in a press conference Tuesday, that on Monday night another warrant was issued for a third suspect: De’Ondre Jermirris White.

Authorities say ballistic tests point to White as responsible for the shootings. They also say he is armed and dangerous.

The cause of the shooting did stem from two rival groups encountering each other. Many of them had guns.

Charges against the two juveniles originally arrested have been dropped, with Austin District Attorney José Garza saying "it is in the best interest of this investigation."
