A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Fisherman’s Wharf intersection (San Francisco, CA)

On Monday evening, a driver hit and seriously injured a female pedestrian at a Fisherman’s Wharf intersection and fled the scene.

San Francisco police are looking for the driver involved in the hit-and-run accident. According to officers, the driver struck the woman walking at the intersection of Beach Street and Columbus Avenue at about 5 p.m. and escaped from the scene. On arrival, medics rushed the woman to a local hospital with critical injuries.

The motorist was seen driving a white Infinity SUV with California license plate number 7MJJ084. Police believe that the car was “involved in auto burglaries in the Fisherman’s Wharf area” before the hit-and-run accident. The identity of the woman remains undisclosed at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
