Police search for man who used $1 bill to rob Queens gas station

(QUEENS, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a store with a $1 bill on Saturday.

FOX 5 NY reports that the incident took place around 8:30 p.m. at a gas station on Queens Blvd. in Long Island City.

The suspect passed the cashier a $1 bill with a hand-written note on it demanding cash. The man reportedly also threatened to use violence.

The cashier then handed over a bag with $250.

The robber took the cash as well as his $1 bill and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.
