On Saturday morning, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Phoenix.

Officers actively responded to the crash scene at around 4:50 a.m. near 51st Avenue and Fillmore Street. According to reports, a 17-year-old driver with three passengers was traveling north on 51st Avenue when he rear-ended a Jeep, also heading north.

The impact of the collision pushed the Jeep into a power pole and it caught fire. The unidentified man in the Jeep died on the scene.
