ATLANTA, GA — When the sun goes down, nocturnal animals come out to hunt!
Celebrate this summer by bringing your family and friends to Zoo Atlanta for an evening of fun activities, including team challenges, scavenger hunts, and interactive activities.
Join the fun as teams roam around the Zoo at night, looking for nocturnal species and investigate how nocturnal animals use their different senses like night vision, echolocation, and heat-sensing, to navigate in the dark. Test your ability to hunt, hide, protect and surprise in the dark.
The Survival Safari will be held on the following dates, June 4, June 19, July 2, July 17, August 7, and August 20 from 6.30 to 9 pm.
The program is open to all ages, but activities are designed for children aged six and above. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Admission for children aged three and under is free. Tickets cost $20/person for non-members and $16/person for members.
Reservations to the program are required prior to the program start dates, and participants are required to sign an online digital waiver before the program.
As per the health guidelines, participants are asked to stay home if they are sick or feel they have been in contact with a COVID-positive individual in the past two weeks.
Participants must maintain a six-foot distance between each other, other participants, and Zoo members during the program.
All participants aged two and up are required to wear a face mask while participating in the program. Zoo team members will provide the sanitation materials — hand sanitizer, sanitation wipes, and disinfectant spray— for participants to use during the program.
