Being courteous WAS the Boise way on the greenbelt, many, many years ago. I walk on the greenbelt daily, multiple times a day. 0ne out ten cyclists MIGHT say 'on your left' or ding a bell. I stay on the right, fully aware of my surroundings, and cyclists fly by me, NO warning, riding at speeds equal to vehicle traffic. There NEEDS to be rules in place on the greenbelt for the safety of the pedestrians.

ive onlt had a few speed up to cut off walking people before the opening closes, for the most part I see parents teaching there kids how to ride safe and ring bells or call out. ive only almost been hit one time, and that was becouse they came up to fast on my blind side.
