Rated at 4 stars on Yelp and located at 2006 Sawtelle Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90025, this spot is one you absolutely must try if you're a sushi fan.
Dinner is from 5-8 pm, and you need to start with a few of their amazing appetizers, along with a drink of course. They have white and red wine, as well as some great Sapporo.
The Sake is great too, the Nigori Dassai, Yamaguchi is incredibly smooth, and if you like sparkling try the Sparkling Sake Japon, Kyoto.
For appetizers, if you like seaweed try their Mozuku Seaweed, as well as the assorted sashimi. Their White Fish with Ponzu is light and refreshing and the Seafood Chawan-Mushi is great too.
They also have a Chirasi Bento Box and for $31 you get 3 kinds of Sashimi over ikura rice. The Wagyu is fantastic, and if you're feeling like having a bit of fun with your meal try the Omakase which means Chef's Choice.
In terms of sushi, the Blue Fin Tuna is my favorite, the Toro, Golden Eye Snapper, Sea Bass, Tamago, and be sure to ask about their Daily White Fish. It does change fairly frequently.
The interior in this spot is incredibly modern, the service is fantastic and the food comes out pretty quickly. Everything is incredibly fresh and tasty. I highly recommend you make reservations because it is hard to get in.
