(QUEENS, N.Y.) Two police officers were injured in a car accident on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens.
ABC 7 NY reports that a motorist had crashed into a police car near Hempstead Avenue in Queens Village.
Shortly after, two other cop cars responded to help the injured officers. Upon exiting their car to help their colleagues, another motorist hit their parked police vehicles.
The two officers from the first accident were taken to Manhasset Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Authorities say a civilian from the first accident is also listed in critical but stable condition.
The accidents are under investigation.
