ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta BeltLine will be holding its 2nd Annual #BeltLineLiveStream, a series of performance works and talks by artists in the 2020-2021 exhibition.
The majority of the events will be taking place during June 2021 on virtual platforms.
In this series, “The Endeavor” and her three children, Atalanta, Astarte, and Inanna — created by Jessica Caldas — will gather in person to celebrate her life and spirit at the Atlanta BeltLine on June 1st, June 15th, and June 29th.
The event will begin with a procession starting from the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Center on the Eastside Trail at 5:30 PM to her place of rest near the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark. Celebrations are predicted to end around sunset.

The next event is “Historic Preservation as Advocacy” by artist Nedra Deadwyler, Scholar-in-Residence. Deadwyler gathered information using digital archives and interviews with several individuals to engage cultural memory at seven locations across the Atlanta BeltLine.
Nedra recognizes the profound need to preserve people, culture, and place to maintain places that inspire and maintain authenticity. Nedra will host a community activation about her research in addition to presenting her year-long study.
There is “Restructure” by artist Full Radius Dance in the lineup. Full Radius will debut a video of their performance “Restructure” virtually through Zoom, and there will be an artist talk. The “Restructure” is a series of interconnecting dance solos, duets, and trios. The performance explores what it emotionally and physically means to come out of hibernation, of isolation.
