ATLANTA, GA — Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will be hosting the ATL Airport Career Fair on Wednesday, June 30, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
The appointment-only event will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Managerial roles, along with airlines, cargo, maintenance, concessions jobs, will be available at the fair.
Due to health protocols, the ATL Airport Career will apply all City of Atlanta guidelines for hosting a large-scale event. No walk-ins will be permitted.
Face masks must be worn every time while at the Career Fair. There will be hand sanitation dispensers throughout the venue.
The airport also posted some tips and requirements on their website:
- Applicants must pass a 10-year federal background check
- Wear professional attire
- Bring 10 or more clean copies of your resumé to share with potential employers
Applicants are also advised to wear a blouse or shirt tucked into pants or skirt, dress or skirt no more than three inches above the knee, and simple jewellery. Tie and jacket optional.
People who wear inappropriate attire, such as but not limited to jeans or sagging, patched, torn or tattered pants, bib overalls, leather or simulated leather, T-shirts, sweat pants, jogging or warm-up outfits, graphic designs or lettering on clothing, and tight-fitting, see-through or sheer garments will not be allowed to participate.
Job seekers are encouraged to practice at home before coming to the job fair, avoid using slang when talking with companies at the fair, ask questions about the company or position, talk about qualities and strengths, and speak with as many recruiters as possible.
