Rialto, California Teen Killed in Boat Crash

After his jet ski struck a boat on Arizona's Lake Havasu, a 16-year-old boy from California has died.
Jose Contreras, a resident of Rialto, California, was pronounced dead at a Las Vegas hospital.
The sheriff's office says the teen's speed and inexperience on the PWC contributed to the crash. The teen was thrown from the personal watercraft.
At the helm of the boat was a 49-year-old man who will not face any charges.
He and bystanders called 911 pulled the boy from the water, and transported him to Lake Havasu State Park for medical attention, according to authorities.
